About the Role:

HI-TECH FURNACE SYSTEMS INC is looking for a skilled Welder/Pipe Fitter to join our team in Shelby Township, MI! Responsibilities:

• Perform structural and pipe welding using MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding processes
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols to ensure accurate fabrication
• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble pipe systems and structural components to specification
• Inspect welds and pipe fittings for quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Operate hand and power tools, grinders, and cutting equipment safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to meet production deadlines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with safety protocols

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Welder, Pipe Fitter, or combination role in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Knowledge of pipe fitting, layout, and assembly methods
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
