A great opportunity is available for a Dermatologist to join a patient-focused practice in Towson, MD . The physician will provide comprehensive dermatologic care, treating a broad range of skin conditions while performing a variety of common office-based procedures.

Position Highlights

Perform biopsies, cryosurgery, ED&C, shave removals, and minor procedures
Patient education and preventative skin care

Responsibilities

Evaluate and diagnose dermatologic conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications.
Perform shave removals, punch and excisional biopsies, cryosurgery, ED&C, and suture placement.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed.
Refer patients for surgery or specialty care when appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Educate patients regarding treatment options and preventative skin health.
Collaborate with other physicians and specialists.
Stay current with advancements in dermatology and treatment options.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited Dermatology residency.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology.
Active state medical license.
Current DEA and DPS registration.
Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
EHR proficiency; NextGen experience is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
