The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of outsourced accounting clients and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned engagements.
• Manage all aspects of client engagements, including onboarding, service delivery, client communication, staff supervision, and project completion.
• Oversee and review monthly financial statements, management reports, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure client accounting records are accurate, complete, and compliant with GAAP and firm standards.
• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and other advisory services.
• Coordinate annual audit preparation and serve as a liaison with external auditors.
• Supervise, mentor, train, and develop Senior Accountants, Staff Accountants, and interns.
• Provide timely performance feedback and assist with staff evaluations and career development.
• Lead accounting software implementations, conversions, and process improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enhance client service delivery through technology and automation.
• Participate in networking, business development, association, and community events.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks Online, BILL, payroll systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and other cloud-based accounting platforms.
• Experience with accounting software implementations and technology-driven process improvements is preferred.

Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000, based on experience.
